What Type of Visa To Obtain For UAE

1. Tourist Visa

The most common type of visa for the UAE is the tourist visa. This visa is suitable for travelers who wish to visit the UAE for a holiday or vacation. It is available for stays of up to 30 days and can be extended for a further 30 days. 

2. Employment Visa

An employment visa is issued to those who have been offered a job in the UAE. This visa is valid for up to three years and can be extended for a further three years. 

3. Student Visa

A student visa is available for those wishing to study in the UAE. This type of visa is valid for up to two years, and can be extended for a further two years. 

4. Investor Visa

An investor visa is available for those wishing to invest in the UAE. This type of visa is valid for up to three years and can be extended for a further three years. 

5. Residence Visa

A residence visa is available for those thetotal who wish to live in the UAE on a permanent basis. This type of visa is valid for up to five years and can be extended for a further five years. 

6. Mission Visa

A mission visa is available for those who are traveling to the UAE to represent their government, business, or other organization. This type of visa is valid for up to two months, and can be extended for a further two months.

7. Freelance Visa

Once you have secured a sponsor, you can apply for a freelance visa. It is important to note that the process of obtaining a freelance visa in the UAE can be complex and may take some time to complete. Depending on the type of sponsor you have, you may be required to provide additional documents such as a business plan, proof of income, and a copy of your CV. Once your application is approved, you will receive a freelance visa that is valid for three years with the possibility of renewal. The visa will allow you to work in the UAE as a freelancer, and you may be required to pay a certain fee for the visa. In some cases, you may also be required to obtain a work permit from the Ministry of Labour. 

Freelancers in the UAE can benefit from a number of advantages, including the ability to work remotely, the freedom to work with companies from around the world, and the potential to earn a higher income than they would in their home country. Additionally, the UAE is a great place to live and work with a high quality of life and a stable economy.

8. Retirement Visa

The UAE offers a retirement visa for those who want to retire in the country. This visa is available to individuals who are over the age of 55 and who meet certain financial requirements. The requirements for the visa include having a monthly income of at least AED 20,000 (about US$5,450) from a pension or other sources of income, such as a property rental or investments. In addition, individuals must have health insurance coverage and must demonstrate that they are able to provide for themselves financially. The retirement visa is valid for three years and can be extended indefinitely. Residents who obtain a retirement visa can also apply for a residence permit, which allows them to stay in the UAE for up to three years without needing to renew their visa.
